review 1: I got this ebook for free from Amazon and that in itself allows me to feel good about the book. It provided me an hour or two of reading entertainment for no cost, which overall wasn't too bad. I enjoyed the storyline that the main character Kat was caught in the middle of two different men, both of who had qualities that she admired, however, there were things about them that were quite unbelievable. I enjoyed that Kat worked at a hospital and was very caring and kind, but the fact that she had "the list" that basically said she wanted to marry someone with tons of money so she never had to work again was not believable to me because of how much she seemed to enjoy her career. Of course the biggest flaw for me was the editing. Although there were some descriptive passages... more and creative sentences, this book suffered from awkward sentence lengths, weird phrasing, and too many spelling and grammar errors. It actually made me cringe when I found a their/there/they're mistake...among others. If the book was edited a bit more, that would help the story flow along at a better pace and would improve the book overall. So even with the mixed review above, the story was quick and entertaining (although somewhat unbelievable) and was worth taking the chance on a free ebook. review 2: This was another freebie from Amazon that I grabbed. I'm glad I did. I loved this book! It was a fun and easy read. There was a little predictability, but otherwise, it was awesome. Any girl loves a good romance. This one had great characters and a good storyline. There are two smoking hot guys in this book. Rex, the billionaire is a smooth talking businessman looking for a quicky wife to keep his fortune. Jack is an ordinary guy in between jobs who just happens to be sexy as all get out.Kat's always had a list. Rex makes the list but Jack doesn't. Knowing Rex is the key to her happiness, her and her best friend face off Bride Wars style to get the guy. Kat's not sure if her relationship with Holly will withstand the fight for Rex.Jack is there when Rex isn't. He helps her out and comforts her when she needs it most. It still doesn't change the fact that he isn't rich and she needs stability. The story was full of twists and many things that alter the course of the plot. I really enjoyed this book and am excited for the little sister's P.O.V. in the sequel. I have to give this book five glittery stars for the great fairytale romance. less
