review 1: First off I would like to say thank goodness I didn't spend 28.50 on this book..It's not what I thought it was going to be at all!I am a huge fan of the show "Dance Moms" And I am also a fan of Abby Lee Miller !!So when I found out she wrote a book I was really excited! Then when I got to the book store and found it in Parenting I was a little skeptical.So I borrowed it from the library ..Thanks goodness !Since I don't have any kids I found parts of this book very boring ..and very repetitive !!I would have preferred a book more about her and her life rather than a book about how she thinks you should raise/teach your kids ..Just my opinion !Anyways .. I read to page 86 then began to skim over the parenting parts and reading the parts about "dance moms". A little disappoin... moreted ..In my eyes It would have been worth every penny if it was her biography ..!Although I did learn ALOT more about Abby !! And I loved those parts !!I also really enjoyed the forward by Maddie !!
review 2: Summary: Abby Lee - she's opinionated and over-the-top, but she's also spectacular. Learn a little bit about her life and a lot about her opinions.Why I Read This: Who doesn't love 'Dance Moms'?Review: I actually really liked this book. It isn't great literature, but its interesting and engaging. It had me reminiscing about my own terrible dance education (12 years of it). Plus, I agree with her on a lot of things. less
