review 1: I absolutely loved this one about a college teacher-student relationship. The professor, described a tall, dark and scary reminded be of the haughty aristocrat so common in Historical Romances, and I loved him.The author has a very engaging writing style that I really connected with. Her dialogue was natural and she handled the development or the relationship with subtlety. The author is great at the show, not tell type of storytelling, where the dialogue, the character's behavior, a look or a pause reveal so much.
review 2: I actually liked this better than the first book. It had a plot and decent characterizations. While the professor was a total jerk most of the book, you begin to see him thaw by the end. I liked the little cameo Sage and Xavier had, but... more not sure if I'll buy buy book three. I'm strictly an M/M reader these days, so the M/M/F angle doesn't intice me to purchase it, even if Rutledge and Shawn are in it. less
