review 1: Not the best book i've read, only because I had already seen the movie. I thought it was going to be a little different, or atleast more descriptive. But it was exactly the same as the movie. And I understand that it was based on it, but reading something that you already know what happens bores me. I knew what they would say, do, or react because of seeing the movie. They would even say the same lines. I'm not sure if I would read it again.. well, probably. I do love the movie though! I just prefer the movie over the book.
review 2: The problem isn't that I didn't like this book, it's that it's pretty much the movie in written form. It's essentially like watching the movie with subtitles and a little more inner monologue. I give the book props for including ... moredialogue from the unrated edition of the movie, but it only made me want to watch said DVD. This is a lazy "bo-vie" (book written for the movie) so if you've seen the film skip this book. Nothing new. less
