review 1: Shocking in its truth! The book is a detail work on the Kashmir conflict.It Introduces the parties of the conflict and the Kashmiris of Indian-side of Kashmir. It is a memoir and easily read. I didn't like the writing style of the author, it seemed foggy at times. Notwithstanding, the book is a nice introductory book on the conflict and more details, like the caste, sects could also add more value to the book. The authors own views are usually reserved and apolitical, this being a plus and minus.
