review 1: Cloonan and Fletcher pull off a good-but-not-great start at a series that could potentially work quite well. The premise is solid. I barely had to read the title before I was adding it to my pull list. Prep school? In Gotham City? My money, please, take it.Maybe I expected too much. It kept me interested enough to finish it, but ultimately I was left underwhelmed. It's bursting with cliché. Its plot is weak, pushed out in favor of character development that doesn't deliver. The action toward the end is rather uneventful, there's an almost useless cameo aaaand, ugh, I'm bummed. This is a 2.5 that I'm stretching to a 3, owing to the overall mood of the comic (I'm into it) and the Maps character, who charmed me.
review 2: Right off the bat, my three stars goes to
... more character Maps, she's the only character in this first issue who was both interesting and had a personality while everyone else is rather forgettable including main character Olive Silverlock. Olive turned out to be another generic boring emo character. I wish Maps was the main character instead of Olive. As for the story it was okay, nothing really happened in it. I know this series is aimed towards tween/teen girls but the writers could at least have something interesting happen.I'm hoping the second issue will be much better. less

The story is intriguing and the art is wonderful. Definitely adding this to my pull list.

Demasiados clichés, pero para ser una serie de DC no estuvo mal

This first issue left me intrigued. That's a good sign.
