review 1: What a disappointment. After the striking absurdist nihilism of the first book, this follow-up, many years later and with a different writer, is laughably dumb. I found myself frequently re-reading "revelations" in the story that were either so ridiculous or so obvious as to in no way warrant the weight they were given. But for a couple of mildly interesting ideas, this would be one-star. Don't read it.

However, one man named Puig seizes leadership and fights for the survival of all the passengers. I hope this very interesting story continues in future Snowpiercer volumes. less
