review 1: This was a great book. Its about how Booby Orr got started in hockey, from just playing pond hockey to playing in the NHL. It started out talking about his adventure in the sport of hockey, hat his first junior team is, his first peewee team is. He talks about everything in his hockey career even talking about plying on the all star team for peewees. The setting takes place all over various rinks, that are in the United States and Canada. In the book he also talks about his constant knee problems, and his old manager and what he did to him. Some down sides to this book are that some of the chapters to this book are way too long. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes sports and or hockey. I would rate this book a 4 out of 5.
review 2: I really wanted t
... moreo like this book and give it a higher rating out of respect for Bobby Orr. But it was just too dull. In the end Bobby is just too much of a gentleman to write a tell-all and the book suffers as a result. In fact, I don't mind that it wasn't a tell-all but it didn't tell-anything. He played with so many legends of the NHL but doesn't have any entertaining stories. Still, it was good to learn something about him and I don't regret reading it. less
