review 1: This was a cute story. Lots of humor in it. I loved it. Case and Mitchell had been friends for a very long time, but Mitchell had always wanted more. Because Case wouldn’t know anything unless someone hit him upside the head, it would seem. Camping trip was actually a couple’s retreat. Fake relationship turns to love. It had such a cute story line and I can actually see myself reading this every Valentine’s Day. The characters are funny, sexy, compassionate, and not a couple till Mitchell tells him what he wants. I loved it.
review 2: 3.5 starsAwwwwwww, this was just sweet and adorable, but not saccharine with two absolutely squish-worthy characters. Mitchell and Case are given a joint camping trip from Case’s dad, and the two best friends head for the
... more wilderness despite Case’s trepidations. Once there and participating in many couple bonding, trust and honesty exercises, they both realize that out of every ‘couple’ there, they are the most solid. Their relationship and friendship is just about perfect as Mitchell would say. There isn’t too much background with the two guys but the reader, I fill, still gets a great picture of why these two are friends and how they complement each other. The differences are what make them special. The blind folding and sharing stick made me smile, and when the book was over I gave a happy little sigh. There was a little error with a character’s hair switching colors, but other than that ridiculously small thing; I loved this. Excited for more from this author. less
