review 1: Read this to complete the Chelsea Handler oeuvre. This dumb, amusing, and sporadically clever book supposedly from Handler's little man sidekick, Chuy Bravo, gives Bravo's "crotch-high perspective" on life matters, including money, romance, music, and family. Sample tip: "If you serve food buffet-style, make sure you have plenty of serving utensils on hand. Trust me, getting casserole stains out of a toilet brush is not an easy task."This is one of those gag gift, bathroom books you pick up for a friend at Spencer Gifts. It is what it is.
review 2: Umm… I am a fan of Chelsea Lately, but this book is OK at best. There are a few funny “Nuggets” (If you don’t smile while listening to the ‘Golden Girls’ theme song “Thank You for being a Friend”... more, you’re dead inside). However, a lot of these seem like thrown away jokes from the show (some of them have been used).You can probably read this book in a day (2 at most); but I only recommend it if you are Obsessed w/ Chelsea and Co. And as she would say: If that is the case, you really need to take a look at yourself. Girl. less
