review 1: Sweet Charity and rugged Toren, both almost too good to be true, but that's okay because this is a tender romance novella. Set both current day and in a medieval era where magic is still prevalent, the time switch is done well and the atmosphere was easily created. It was a very visual book that I could totally see translating well to big screen. My only criticism would be how merrily Charity went into the past, barely giving a thought to saying goodbye or anything to her loving family, I know she intended to come back but that was hardly a guarantee!I think I randomly picked this book from a promotion, maybe on ebooksoda. Anyway, it wasn’t something I was searching for and so I left it sitting on my kindle for a week or two. Then started it last night and couldn't stop ... moreuntil I had finished it. It's rare for me to enjoy a book so much that I can’t put it down. The story moves at a good pace so you never get bored. The characters are really well filled in despite the shorter length of the book, so you invest emotionally in all of them really quickly (which of course means that it becomes compulsory to buy the rest of the series, sigh.. lol). Anyway, I was impressed, a strong start to a series
review 2: I wanted to hesitate in putting a paranormal romance tag on this book. Only because it is so much more than that! I just finished this book and loved the whole story. I had been reading a few other books when I started this one and right from the get go this book took all my attention away from my other books and I had to read straight through this one. It was a fantastic read! You have a bit of everything in this from a hot Highland Sorcerer, to an evil witch bent on dominating everything and opening up the world to darkness unimaginable! Shapeshifter, and also others with supernatural abilities abound in this story. The end of this story promises more books to come and I just can't wait to see where Ms. Clover Autrey will take us all next. There was amazing world building and the author done an amazing job with her characters. I loved both main characters in this and even the two others who are important also. She made the characters realistic (if the world were really filled with magic as in this story). The time travel aspect of it was well written also. It all clicked together to form one amazing adventure and romance! It is a must read if you like all the mentioned things above and really want a good Time Travel Romance with just enough magic to make it wonderful! less

A super-quick read, really best aimed at teenage readers, but fun.
