review 1: I am reading this as part of a boxed set. Ethan Jaggers is on the run and injured. If he can get to his stash of money, he can get out of town. Audrey Cheswick lives at the address where the money is hiding. When he goes to retrieve his money all hell breaks loose. Audrey shots a man she thinks has killed her grandfather. Ethan wants them both dead & she just tells them to get out. He needs her help to retrieve his money & get over the wall. She decides she is going on an adventure. And so it begins. They are being chased by bow street runners & Gin Jimmy, lord of the underworld all across the countryside. Ethan feels that there is no hope for him. Audrey is the eternal optimist. Along the way he tells her his story and the die is cast. She is falling in love with him and ... morehe can't allow it. Eventually he is brought back in chains. What he doesn't realize till he is brought before the magistrate that his half brother & many others are there to stand by him. He humble but the one person he needs to see is not present. She has been kidnapped by Gin Jimmy. So there is a rescue of Audrey by Ethan then there is a rescue of Ethan by Audrey & the others. What a fun book to read. Now I need to go back to read the rest of the series.
review 2: H: Ethan Jaggerh: Audrey Cheswick I read the very first book in this series then i kinda lost touch with it. Now that I have read #6 it makes me remember how much I loved this Author writing style. I think I am gonna go back and check out 2 - 5.So Let me start by saying I love ,LOVE a bad boy Hero.....and Ethan is a bad boy and it is sooooo good. I liked that Audrey was a wallflower who had had enough and wanted a to live a little. I thought that the H and h really went well together ans completed each other nicely.Now lets get to the book. You got Ethan who is a all round bad guy but really a good guy at heart. He is trying to get his life straight and get out of the kinda life he been living. Audrey is trying to do the same but opposite she trying to get out of the "Wallflower good girl" and life a little. This is their story how they get chased all over England and come to depend on each other and how they finally get their HEA! less
