The Sorcery Code
review 1: This book is very exciting and enthralling. The story is about how only the sorcery elite council have access to high magic and the secret occult techniques, objects, and methods of provoking effective spells. Blaise, an outcast from the council, despises them for keeping knowledge from the public and wants to create a magical object so that commoners can easily do magic as well for their betterment. He intended to make an object that could understand everyday language, but instead he creates a woman who he names Gala. He begins to think maybe she was developed because he intended to make a human-like intelligence that could understand human language. Blaise and Gala’s safety gets in jeopardy because some people disagree with the outcome.I thought that the narrator’s ... morevoice was very clear and entertaining. I was amazed at how well she could do so many well done and different impressions of so many characters. She talked in a way that was easy to understand what was being said. I highly recommend this entertaining book! This is one of the best fantasy books I have enjoyed in a while. I highly recommend this entertaining book!
review 2: This book is filled with adventure and suspense. It took me a few chapters to get into it and really realize what was going on, but once I did I was hooked. The book begins with a powerful sorcerer who developed a new spell with an unexpected outcome. Once I really started to understand what was going on, I didn't want to put it down. If you like magical fantasy stories, with both adventure and suspense, then you should definitely read this book. If you are anything like me, you will be quickly hooked. less
