review 1: This was a delightful read. EC Sheedy's writing style is exquisite. I loved the heroine Rosie O'Hanlon. She is a spitfire and a woman that knows what she wants in life. She's hilarious too. She has internal monologue with the angel and devil that sit on her shoulders...otherwise known as Lady Brain and Hormone. There's a wonderful Irish Wolfhound named Font, and let's not forget the yummy workaholic, Kent Summerton who completely gets run over by Rosie. The romance is wonderful and the sex scenes are pretty hot without being raunchy. I'll be adding the rest of EC Sheedy's books to my library. The HEA at the ending gave me goose bumps. One of the most romantic things I've ever read...
review 2: I really enjoyed everything about this book.E.C. Sheedy did a great... more job of making me giddy over the relationship that the Hero/Heroine explored together. The Heroine (Rosie or "Red" for short) is a goofy gal who wrote type copy and ran a love letter business onthe side. Her ecclectic mix of socks and mis-matched clothing was hilarious, just the right touch. And, her dog, Font was a silent background (scene stealer) if you ask me.The Hero (Kent) is a busy man, running a company with an absent partner and a HGUE family he's obligated to keep track of.When the two meet, sparks genuinely fly, but they have a lot to overcome.Rosie wants a large family of her own, and Kent feels his childhood is a campaign against her dream.Together, through ups, downs and a back brace...they find the perfect fit together.I will definietly look for more work from this author. Her tone, descriptive scenes and characters were so worth the read.Her sex scenes had the right amount of sizzle, and fun.Kudos! less
