review 1: This book was actually pretty good! It was a bit over detailed on some things, but still a good book!Aurelia is strong and determined even though she's not able to shift. I like her connection to her brother Ville and how close the family is even though she isn't able to shift to her wolf.Sometimes I would get a bit lost with what was going on when they would talk or Aurelia would go into her own little world in her head, but in the end I enjoyed it altogether and would recommend it!

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviewsI was really looking forward to this, the sample sounded fun and I dug in...sadly although it was good it wasn't great :-( I found it really slow to start, with nothing much happening unti... morel about a third through....I'd probably have given up if it wasn't a review book...and then maybe missed out on what could turn out to be a fun series. Then it started to heat up with Ceithin making a second appearance. To be honest I thought he was a bit of a jerk, it's fair that he wanted to sort things out in a gentlemanly way, but he let his girlfriend trash talk to Aurelia without saying a thing. Not cool...even if she was just another person, and not somone he thought was his mate. There's clearly something else going on too, and towards the end its all action, everything happens at once, but I'd have liked a few more incidents and clues earlier. It was a good idea, but coming so late into the story without many hints earlier – or if there was I missed 'em - didn't make the best of it IMO. It's a starter book in a series though, so it's possible that more of this part and the characters involved will come later on. Stars: Two and a half, though as a series I think there's a lot of potential here. Shall look forward to seeing where the story goes next. ARC supplied via Netgalley. less
