review 1: If You Were a Panda Bear that goes through the traits of a variety of different bears. From Polar bears, to sloth bears. The text informs the reader of various characteristics of the animals that are regarded. This particular book falls perfectly into the poetry genre because of it’s use of expressing the a subject in an imaginative way. This narrative poem is utilized by having the verses tell a story. There is a prominent rhyme scheme with words that sound similar at the end of a line of the poem. There is also a continual beat and rhythm to the poem. This book is successful in having the picture book help young readers get familiar to a variety of different animals. As well as extending their range and knowledge of learning. Also getting them exposed to poetry in a u... morenderstandable way that they can comprehend.
