review 1: *BOOK RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR HONEST REVIEW*Elena White is just your average woman, working a 9-5 job at a bank, living a mundane life, no friends or boyfriend. One lunch time at a coffee shop outside of work, whilst reading and minding her own business, an old school friend comes sauntering in and from that moment on, Elena's life was to change. But for better or worse?Conrad Bailey, one of those men only woman dream about, seemingly comes out of no where, but who he is is pretty much a mystery. He's very closed off about himself but he's the perfect alpha. This book had me sat on the edge of my seat, the anticipation captivated me, making my heart pound harder. I found it frustrating sometimes, but in a good way. It's one way to keep the reader reading. I found in some p... morelaces the POV change to be a little abrupt, but that didn't deter me from my 5* rating. This story is aimed for over 18's and I would recommend it to everyone over the age that enjoy a good romance/suspense.*REVIEWED ON BEHALF OF BOOK EXCURSIONS BOOK REVIEW*
review 2: This book was just not for me. The story line was just not that interesting in my opinion. I had read so many good reviews for this book but I was not thrilled by it. I wanted to like Elena, but she just annoyed me. Conrad made a really good bad guy, but the rest of the characters fell flat for me. Unfortunately this is not a book I would recommend to others, but I wouldn't rule out reading another book by this author at a later date. less
