review 1: A wonderful debut in which Harmony Evans writes a refreshingly different storyline revolving around the subject of illiteracy (she also does it skillfully so that the hero, in keeping with publisher guidelines, is wealthy despite his handicap). The characters were real, the story was romantic and sexy (I'll never look at a Scrabble board the same way again), and it was just a touching story. Kudos to the author. I'm looking forward to reading more of her work.
review 2: What a great debut from Harmony Evans. This book was thought provoking, meaningful, and had a wonderful message. The storyline was really originally. I don't think I've ever read the subject matter of illiteracy in a romance book and it was really refreshing. This was a definite page turn... moreer. Alex and Cara had great chemistry. Their love scenes were sensual and steamy, and their love story really pulled at my heart strings. This was a great start for this author, and I can't wait to read more from her. less
