review 1: This Christmas story is full of holiday delights. The relationship between its human and werewolf protagonists is full of love, lust, and humor — with a dose of geek to boot. For those who are weary of angst, “Peace in the Valley” is the holiday cure: the main characters are an established couple accepted by their families who’ve learned to deal with their differences through respect and compromise, from Christian vs. Native beliefs to the complexities of a human loving a shapeshifter. Because of this, we’re treated to their yummy sexual connection and, my favorite aspect of the short, their wonderful shared sense of humor. Most unique to me here was the ER element, as Anthony (the man) becomes Sir (the Ute wolf) and he and protagonist John work together as a... more rescue team. Sweet, funny, and holiday fluffy.
review 2: 2.5 stars, really. My big problem with this story was that it wasn't really a story. It was just a day-in-the-life-of kind of snapshot between these two geeky gay guys. Oh, and one of them is a werewolf?! (A hot, Native American werewolf, so props there.)There was just no plot that I could discern. It was entertaining, but it didn't have any real conflict in it to drive it anywhere, so it just kind of idled. It was sexy PWP, though! less

Fun romp with two guys when one just happens to be a guy one minute and a rescue dog the next.

This story is to bland and boring. I don't even see the meaning of this shorty, weird.
