review 1: I usually don’t read fantasy books but I really enjoyed this one. The characters are likable and you get to watch them grow and mature as the book goes on. Bomani and Farra with her wolf companion Pupa make quite a team. They aren’t stereotypical or annoying, but you can understand from where they come from. You are able to understand their actions, thoughts, and beliefs. I can’t wait to see what adventures await them both in the future. I think that this book is a good start for anyone who really isn’t a fantasy reader, but wants to start. This book is really good and I would suggest it to anyone.
review 2: Apparently this book is going into print in the next week or so. I got it early edition of the ebook. I went through their site but when I bought
... more it, it sent me directly to Amazon.Anyway, I read this thing in a week and had a great time doing it. It is obvious that the book is for young readers. I'm going to get my nephew a copy when it comes into print. I've been trying my darnedest to get the young lad to have a love of books that I do. Perhaps Warrior Quest will do the trick. The book starts out with a young man having a terrible struggle of identity and acceptance and to be quite honest, I didn't like him for the first thirty pages, as a character. Though, this young warrior kicks ass. He seems like dominates the hero aspect of the book until this cute young sorceress named Farra comes into play. It is through her that this guy turns into a likable and caring human being. Farra, herself, is quite lovable. She is a sorceress that is just coming into her powers. She, and her people (THe Animen) also share this sacred bond with their wolf pets. It is quite a symbiotic relationship.Anyway, these two, Bomani and Farra, get into so much on their adventure. Every chapter of this book is filled with danger, and magic, and sorcery, and it still manages to constantly convey our hero's mental journey and emotional growth. This is a great book for any young reader or adult that loves fantasy. less

I won this in a give away on Goodreads and it was a good book. Not a great book, but a good book.

An imaginative and fast-paced fantasy for kids in a well-developed, original setting.

Good book with an epic quest. Reminded me of Lord of the Rings.
