I ha... mored read Ms. Ford’s highly enjoyable debut novel, Watching Fireflies, months ago and was instantly addicted. I think it safe to say that I took to her writing like a crack ho takes to the pipe, and being the greedy smut junkie that I am, upon finishing - I immediately wanted more. While you don’t need to read the first book in the series to enjoy the second, it is so much more fun to read them all. Both are stand-alone volumes, but the two stories interweave and the second continues both stories further. Excellently written, tastefully sensual, intelligent yet easy to read, and impossible to put down – in fact I couldn’t…at all. I had to plug in my trusty Kindle to keep going. I am anxious to see who Ms. Ford’s laser focus hones in on next, and know I definitely will be paying attention for her next delicious offering.
