review 1: I sometimes leave aside my normal reading for a bit of light relief and fun. I like to read a bit of ‘sexy romance’ now and then, but the problem is finding something that is well written, and I thought this was. The characters come across as real, the background is vivid and it keeps the reader’s attention to the end. Therefore, definitely a four star. In fact, I would say four and a half stars, but there isn’t any half in the rating system here. The cowboy theme also intrigued me, coming from the UK as I do. The whole thing about rodeo groupies was new to me, and I enjoyed that deliciously curvy heroine’s annoyance with the ‘stick like bleached blondes’, her rivals for Chase, whom she’s wanted for years. ‘Maybe tonight, she would have a chance to ... moredo more than just run her hands over those muscles.’ Exactly, but this man is clever enough to sense when not to rush things…

I enjoyed this short story about Chase and Sarah, it always fun to read a story about a teenage crush coming back into your life years after high school.In Curves and the Cowboy Sarah is coming back to her hometown after six years away, when she runs into her teenage crush, Chase. Chase has waited a long time for Sarah and once she is back in town he wastes no time getting her to go out with him and the sparks start to fly (or popcorn).This was a fast read (under 10 minutes for me) and left me wanting to know a lot more about the characters and what happens next. I knew this was a novella going in, but I had no idea it was this short (25 pages) so I was surprised when the story was over. I would really like to see this become a series so we get more little vignettes of Chase and Sarah's relationship and can watch as it grows into something more.If you are looking for a quick, steamy read right before bed this is perfect! less
