review 1: if loving this book is wrong than I don't want to be right. i am a forbidden love junkie and this elegant, creepy, gothic novella delivered beyond my expectations. my only criticism (no. not the epilogue, i could even hang with that. . .mostly) is that it wasn't a full-length novella because please, sir, I want some more. Straight to the reread shelf. Officially designated as running-into-walls good.
review 2: I think it was an ok read. I was thinking about a 2*, according to GR, it's OK. But I think the writing was good, so I gave it a 3*. It annoyed me that we never know anything about White. We didn't know if his reactionto Archer was in a friendly basis or more. Giving the fact that he was crazy ormentally challenged (?), I cannot tell for sure. What Archer
... more did consider to besexual harassment. I don't know why Archer was attracted to White exceptthat White was a beautiful young man. It was definitely too rush, especiallytowards the ending. It seems that the author was in a hurry to finish the book. The plot was good and it has the potential to be a very good read. Unfortunatelyit's not the case. less
