review 1: I got so mad reading the reviews. If you haven’t read the book you have no right to write a review about it!!!!I absolutely loved the book; anyway I’m a belieber so my opinion might be biased. But two of my friends who aren’t fans said the book was okay and they enjoyed it.I hate how you all are so quick to judge. I’m sure you are all gullible and you believe everything the media says about him. If you actually read the book you’ll understand that he wasn’t made, he was found. He came from a very humbling beginning and he worked really hard to get here. He’s an incredibly talented guy, has a fantastic voice and can do so many other things. He’s one of the most charitable celebrities in the world. The book is an autobiography; it tells stories about his life... more and also includes some pictures. Justin is a guy with a big heart. He’s an inspiration to millions of people. He makes me and so many other people happy. You don’t have to like him; but he deserves some respect. If you can’t respect him don’t hate a successful young boy behind a computer screen. This is called bullying! He has feelings too you know. Plus he’s done nothing to you So SHUT UP YOU IGNORANT MEAN PEOPLE.
review 2: First Step 2 Forever by Justin BieberWhy I decided to read this book:Since the age of ten I have always been a huge Justin Bieber fan and yes many people have criticised me and I don’t understand why, I am allowed to choose my inspirations aren’t I? I found this book recently hiding under my bed and I hadn’t finished it, so I decided to finish it.Which category on the bingo board this book complete:This autobiography completes “A diary autobiography or biography” This category is one of my favourites to read because it is really interesting getting to know the insights into the lives of well-known people and it is even better when the biography’s are written by the person rather than a journalist. My favourite quote from this book (and why):“Music is the universal language no matter the country we are born in or the color of our skin. Bring us all together” In world where there will always be bitterness there is always music to bring us together, this quote reminds me that we live in such a beautiful place where we are blessed with music that connects the whole world together. Many people also rely on music as a source of happiness and freedom from what ever they are going through, this shows the music is a powerful thing even though it may start of as just words on paper. This quote also reminded me of the lyrics “we are ugly, but we have the music” from the song Chelsea Hotel No. 2 by Leonard Cohen which happens to also be my favourite lyrics.Something new I learned from this book is:No matter how many times you fail you must keep trying. Justin was rejected by many producers but he and his team never stopped until they found him the right one. He remained positive because he knew he has the talent and he believed in him self. And look at him now. A character or setting in this book that was interesting to me (and why):Justin used to busk with his guitar on the streets of Stratford, Ontario in Canada. The setting for him at the time was one of the places where it all first started. He had big dreams to grow and become a musician and busking outside the street of Stratford was where he took the first action into following his dreams. It is a reminder that we can get anywhere even if we start small. less
