review 1: The setting and Stefan's character were really well done. I was a little less impressed with the plot. It's not that it wasn't well thought out. For some reason, I just wasn't all that into it and wasn't feeling any sense of anticipation with the outcome. Ben's character did nothing for me. I don't think I ever got a good sense of him and that kind of killed any joy I might have had over their romance. I was much more interested in Wilf than in Ben.
review 2: Robin Hood rides again. An adventure story with a romance that practically includes riding off into the sunset. Wonderful cast of characters that anyone with a passing knowledge of Robin Hood will recognize some of these charmers. I enjoyed the intrigue, companionship and the resolution was perfect and
... more realistic. So, I'm probably biased because I love medieval times and shake my head when everyone runs to praise the Renaissance when some of the most fundamental aspects of our modern society were crafted during that period. Good fun. less
