review 1: Don't let the category of mystery or thriller fool you. It is neither. At best, it is a bad romance. At worst, it is a bad romance. I debated with myself on if I should give it one star or two. I gave one star for the author having taken up the challenge of eight different first account narrations to take the story forward. The second star I gave it for laying an acceptable foundation to the story giving the first quarter of the book a chance. Every other brick in the story breaks down. The primary suspect to murders is taken away from suspicion even before the suspense is created. Without indulging in the possibility of one the plot strays in to romance, lust, hint of soft porn, and at the final pages of the book, voila, murders. Four murders in two pages, all without a t... morehrill or suspense, of course.The writing is amateurish, but the potential talent is visible. I have not read another book from the author and hence cannot recommend another, but I surely would not start with this one, lest it be too discouraging to read her other works. I would like to forget this and read another from the author, in time.
review 2: I downloaded this book on iBooks because it was free but wasn't really expecting much from it WOW!! Was I surprised !! I enjoyed the way the author wrote it from each neighbors perspective. It allowed me to really get to know ( or so I thought ) each neighbor. I had my suspicions but bounced back and forth so the ending wasn't a total surprise, yet it was I'd recommend anybody get thus ebook--it's FREE yet good!! less
