review 1: Model Position by Kitsy Clare 4 out of 5 starsThis is my first novel by Kitsy Clare, and right off the bat I'm drawn in by Sienna's dilemma. She is an aspiring artist, and finds herself accepting a date with fellow art student, Dave, so she can use his connections to get her art shown in a gallery. This isn't much of a problem for her until the new model walks in her class. Erik has no problem going after what he wants. He is very confident, and a great artist also. Sienna finally decides that being dishonest with Dave by dating him just for his connections isn't the right thing to do. Sienna and Erik steam up the pages as they grow closer together, and Sienna ultimately decides that he is the one for her and that he won't let her down and will actually love her. It's a ni... morece story with a lot of chaos in the middle as Sienna tries to determine what she wants to believe about Erik and how she wants her life to go, but ultimately they settle down in love.*A complimentary copy was given in exchange for an honest review*Amanda, My Secret Book Spot
review 2: Thank you Netgalley for this free galley!Model Position follows Sienna, an artist, who enjoys neatness an order, but when she meets Erik, her drawing model, all that changes. Sienna is stuck between choosing Dave, who could give her the career she’s always longed for or Erik, the man she’s frantically lusting over…Wow was my first reaction to this novella – I loved it. Sadly, it just wasn’t long enough…. Kitsy Clare has such a talent for writing, and I was almost rooting for Sienna to get her big break AND Erik. Although Sienna originally seemed rather selfish in her relationship with Dave, this was soon overcome by her meeting with Lydia. I guess that has redeemed her. The ending was so passionate and heart-warming and when I had finished I was literally sat in awe “like, what do I do now? That can’t just be it!” But then again isn’t that how literature should make the reader feel? Model Position is a fantastic, quirky, lustful love story. I would recommend this novella for anyone who enjoys NA romance! less
