review 1: If you're a dog lover, you will LOVE this book! Nonfiction story of this dog trainer's canine family, focusing on a somewhat developmentally challenged Lab mix that she trains to help people. Kids who have difficulties in reading was especially interesting, how reading aloud to a dog can improve their reading skills up to 30%, with the children being more relaxed knowing that the dog doesn't care how good they are or are not. Loved this book immensely, & learned a lot.

... mored me for the dog training things that I already knew and TRY always to do, but it also taught me a lot that I did not know. I plan to put the new knowledge to good use. Most of all, it inspired me to keep plodding along with my difficult to understand dog, and to count my many blessings. It was a great story to read around Thanksgiving. less
