review 1: What a fab little Christmas book! I read this just a few days into the Christmas season and it put me in the mood and Evie gave me a great idea for a Christmas pressie for my husband! I loved catching up with Evie and Ed again. But most of all, I love the setting of this book. On the beach in cornwall (my husband is from Cornwall) so I can almost taste the sea air. It's a tiny bit of escapism for about a day - which is how long it took me to read it!
review 2: Christmas at the Beach Cafe is more of a long short story than a novel and I feel you need to have read The Beach Cafe first to really get the most out of the story and catch up with all the characters although it's not totally necessary. ... moread - light weight enough to pick up and put down during the busyness, on topic, fun and entertaining. While being short it does have quite a string storyline to it and I felt also has the benefit of including a good lesson to be learned - that what you think you want isn't always what you need or what is right. less
