review 1: A marvellous free short. Evoking emotional resonance is no minor feat and this author manages to do this in less than 15,000 words. Full of vitriol, bitterness and borderline homicidal rage in the beginning, the protagonist never really got over his ex who, as luck would have it , he runs into six years later in a cafe. Again, beautifully written and injected with some unexpected humour, every word acutely expresses the narrator's pain and heartache and his love for the ex. I just wish that it had been longer.

So, I may have taken the first exit off the high road and am now driving straight through the middle of Resentment County. Population: me. Bite me. The high road is for losers anyway.----Loved it. That's all I've got to say. less
