review 1: A charming little story that is (sort of) about a long-term couple who talk through all of their differences in bed. Cute, quick read for romance readers who adore these stories and know that, while the day-to-day of living love might be kind of boring at times, we still (knowingly) build the fantasies because we love the end result (in books and in life). Maybe this is why some of the best stories are the ones with the imperfect couples who negotiate and compromise and do weird stuff that no one else but they understand. Their texture is real because these couples loved their way through the bullshit and got to a place that felt legitimate, so we can identify with it. And I guess that's why I connected so well with this one. It's a story about sex that has little to do ... morewith sex, because it's really about commitment.
review 2: What a refreshing story. This lovely and tiny story( it's less than 2000 words) tackles various stereotypes and cliches that abound the romance genre and particularly m/m books- from perpetual, unbridled passion in and out of the bedroom to indefatigable libidos and so on. It was all so very true to life, where one has to make compromises and find a middle ground to make a relationship last. I'm so happy to have discovered this author and I'll echo my friend, Emma's sentiment that I hope to read a full length novel/novella by her soon. less

It's entirely too short, but there is that one little paragraph that still hurts like the dickens.

Comparison of romance novel love and sex vs. reality makes for a quick, humorous read.

It was fun and witty -- about the myths and reality of love. Definitely entertaining!
