review 1: Un récit autobiographique bouleversant qui nous raconte l'histoire d'"amour" tordue d'une gamine avec un homme en âge d'être son grand-père, atteint de pédophilie. Cependant, ce qui m'a perturbée à la lecture n'est pas tant l'histoire qui nous est contée en elle-même, mais le ton avec lequel elle l'est, car l'auteure se livre à nous sans aucune lamentation, mais avec un regard objectif et limpide.
review 2: No. Just...no. I applaud the author for having the courage to write this. It especially showed what a truly disgusting sleazebag her "friend" (a pedophile) was, but memoirs of this ilk, I think, should leave the reader with a sense of something other than feeling slimy and tainted for having read this...somehow I felt she was still in the thrall ... moreof this man. I would warn away especially sexual abuse survivors: this was highly triggering. less
