review 1: Honestly, I was quite intrigued by the title of the story, which was “My Sexy Greek Summer”. It was really catching. It made me think of all the scrumptious and mouthwatering possibilities that could happen in an island during summer… and a Greek island to boot. A perfect place to have a summer fling. I could only imagine! But was I glad I decided to read it immediately because it was a very nice story. It was sexy, fun and a fast-paced read. The sex was incredible and truly scrumptious in the imagination, hahaha! The storyline was quite original and the characters were really lovable, especially Yannis Petrides. Not only was he a sexy hunk but he was also incredibly romantic and insatiable! The first time he met Cara Sokol when he almost ran her down with his scooter... more, he was instantly attracted with her. He couldn’t quite forget the way she licked her lips which immediately drawn him to stare at those luscious part of her. And the way her fiery hair curled on her shoulders and cascaded at her back. She was unforgettable period. And then he met her again accidentally in a bar. And what started as a summer fling immediately became the most important summer of his life.If not for Athena, a longtime friend who was sick, Cara wouldn’t set foot in Athens again. There was a point in her life that was spent in Athens that she would rather forget. But because her friend needed her, she had had to brave the nightmarish memories that Athens induced in the periphery of her consciousness. She resolved that she would leave Aphrodisias Island as soon as Athena became well. But then she met Yannis Petrides, a very sexy, gorgeous blue-eyed Greek. She swore off Greek men forever, but there was just something about Yannis that she couldn’t help but be drawn to him. Anyway, she was here for a brief stay, wasn’t she? She decided to have a bit of summer fling. I’ve loved every minute of reading this story. Athena was a good old lady who was really into matchmaking schemes. Even Emma, Cara’s best friend, went along with her antics. It was so funny most of the time which I thought was another good thing about this story. It was not dragging like other stories of the same genre. I would love to recommend this book to all readers who are into sexy and fun read.
review 2: cute sexy story set on a beautiful Greek island. (Loved the background of the quait towns, ocean, flowers, language, food, local customs...etc.) One of the better Blaze books I've read in a long time. This is an author I'll read again! The hero, Yannis, was my kind of hero - sexy, smart and a great sense of humor. Cara was a great heroine too, but maybe a bit contradictory. This author can write HOT steamy scenes while keeping it real. Something I give big kudo's for. less
