review 1: I loved it! This book made me laugh out loud. I love that the main character, Emily is full of self doubts and is conscious of her weight. She gets fired from her writing job at a newspaper and begins a new job as an erotic telephone conversationalist. One of her regular clients gets murdered and Emily is implicated and takes it upon herself to try and figure out who the murderer is. This is a fun read that won't disappoint you!
review 2: "Phone Kitten" by Marika Christian is one of those rare gems that you never expect to find, but when you do you are glad that you read it. Emily Winters is forgettable. At least that's how she feels about herself. Recently having lost a bit of weight and well on her way to improving her life. She takes the first step towar... mored becoming a journalist only to find out that one of her friends betrayed her trust. Overall, I thought that this was an extremely well written novel. The plot was pretty fast passed and it kept me reading. less
