review 1: Title: When Dads Don't Grow UpAuthor/Illustrator: Marjorie ParkerPublisher: DialDate: March 15, 2012Genre: nonfictionPortrays a great, positive relationship with fathers. Also shows a positive side of growing up, showing children not to fear getting old. Great humor that both parents and children will love. Could use in the classroom allowing students to reflect upon their own behavior and how they act on a daily basis.

While the title implies that the dads haven't grown up, the book really shows them as grownups who haven't lost their joie de vivre and are more than happy to share it with their kids. These dads are more like Phil Dunphy from M
... moreodern Family and less like Raymond Barone from Everybody Loves Raymond. These dads relish in spending time with their kids. Like the dads in the book, this book is fun, fun, fun! less
