review 1: People beed to lighten up, this book wasn't meant to change people's lives or give some grand life changing viewpoint. It's about a dude who was on the bench his whole college career but still makes the most of it. He does it all in grand style, this book reads similar to "I hope the serve beer in hell" but it more sports focused and far less raunchy. If your looking for the sports story of the year, look else where. If you want to laugh and enjoy so good inside stories about OU basketball give it a chance.
review 2: Don't Put Me In, Coach was a fine book. It was funny at times and relatively well told. However, the basic premise of the book was to build a context around a walk-on who was capable of pranks. It was established and then executed. There were o
... morether questions and stories that I was curious about - Greg Oden, why Harvard, etc. - that simply were not told. It would have been interesting to go into more detail about the players beyond a surface review of the facts. The deepest delve was into Will Buford and it was really interesting - more of this type of analysis and information would have made the book fuller and more interesting. less

I only read a few chapters to give this book a chance. I was sorely disappointed.
