review 1: This was not writing by a man who understands women. This is by a man who only believes and understands Patriarchy society.Sometimes, it was funny, sometimes it made me smile, but mostly it was silly and at times pretty much just horrible. and about the ending of this book I would say, only deficient men think like that about woman, and sometimes force them to think that too. but No... no women would ever think this way by herself.

There’s Eve, full of delight in and curiosity about everything around her, who appreciates beauty above all things and is full of love, compassion and wonder (and who never stops talking !). And there is ... moreAdam, taciturn, moody, irritable, with a weak ego and no eye for beauty. He doesn’t seem to take an interest in or be good for anything except the practical side of life, building shelters and seeing how his properties are coming along. After the expulsion from Eden Eve finds that she loves Adam despite the „lack of harmony that prevails in our views of things“. She loves him despite all his defects and forgives him for all his shortcomings. During their long life together she comes to the conclusion that „this kind of love is not product of reasonings and statistics. It just comes – none knows whence – and cannot explain itself ».This story reads like an ode to women in general and to his wife Olivia in particular when he has Adam say at Eve’s graveside: „Wheresoever she was, there was Eden“. less
