review 1: (got this via storybundle.com)Very enjoyable, but at times it was a little hard to follow. Not disjointed or confusing. Simply so frenetic that I had force my brain to slow down. And I mean that in the nicest possible way.Occasionally, it had the feel of a Gibson novel, where a bunch of disparate characters come together in a confluence of events which lead to the conclusion of the story. But here Kee introduced most of the characters as a part of the clear primary narrative, then spun them off and brought them back again for the climax.Story content premise was interesting and unique with some decent consumer-grade science to back up the story.
review 2: I got this book as a member giveaway. I have to say I was quite impressed with it. It took a little
... morebit to get fully engulfed in the book, but when I did, all the other books I was reading at the time got temporarily pushed to the side. Its almost like the author mashed as many genres as he could together, steampunk, gothic horror, fantasy, burning times, science fiction. But, he pulled it off quite well. I will be most interested to look at any other books he puts to print. less

Good Young Adult fiction that adults will like, Steampunk world is not annoying, just about right.

I took awhile to get into this book, but I'm glad I got to the end.

It starts a bit messy, and some parts seem rushed, but not bad.
