review 1: An honest look at how 'To Big To Fail' became 'To Big To Jail'. The rich bankers can demolish the world economy & pad their own pockets, while we fill our jails with poor people for lesser crimes & assume every single mom is trying to game the system. This book reveals that the real criminals & welfare queens are still running free on Wall Street. Read this book, even though it will likely piss you off.
review 2: Anyone who has paid attention shouldn't be too surprised by much in this book, though that doesn't make any of it less infuriating. We have a two-tiered system of justice in which poor people are routinely and increasingly treated harshly for minor and often accidental crimes, while the wealthy and well connected perpetrate fraud on a massive level
... more, screwing over basically everyone and facing no consequences. Taibbi did a great job in selecting the stories he tells to illustrate his point and a lot of the things contained within are truly shocking even though the overall message is apparent to anyone who cares to look. less

Makes some great points and arguments, but very hyperbolic and off-putting at times.
