review 1: This is one of my favorite historical romance novels and I have quite a few but this ranks in one of my top favs I really enjoyed this journey with Quinton and Suga (Sarah) Caine. The love that they had for one another was out of this world. The admiration, faithfulness and level of respect that everyone who encountered Suga (with the exception of one person lol) had for her was what made her character even more beautiful outside of her description. Although we didn't get much of Cora's story (Suga's mother) she to me exudes a woman who bared it all and still stood strong. Being able to survive off as well as taking care of others, and obviously taught her daughters to do the same. I was so proud of Sarah although a little weary at times she stepped up to the plate willing... more to learn as much as she could and helping as many as she could along the way. Believing that she could make a difference. The faithfulness and devotion that her and her husband had for one another was simply beautiful. Every captured woman needs a Quinton to stumble in their life as fate would have to save them. I learned so many new things in my reading of The Fancy and I've also read Suga's sister's story and I loved it as well! Mrs. Keyes did a phenomenal job bringing The Fancy to life, I could not put it down, I highly recommend this novel, it was indeed a Sweet Read! #fivestars
review 2: 4.5 stars...there were way too many grammatical errors to give it the full 5 stars. I really loved this book, though it took me forever to get around to finishing it. Lady Caine was a beautiful person inside and out and I thoroughly enjoyed the way Lord Caine adored and cherished her. Those two were truly romantic in every sense of the word. That is what I long to see between a hero and his lady love when I read a novel....true romance *le sigh* less
