review 1: I don't know what to make of part 3 in this series. Out of a book of unlikeable characters the fact that Lil C could be the absolute worst... His character was absolutely unbelievable. It almost had me wondering if it was satire? The side plots that weren't fleshed out (Dap being killed but it not being acknowledged. Her being raped. Moni and Lil C, Persia and Lil C, the whole Bucky storyline, Yvette's mother, Yvette and Chris). I said it with the last book. I guess I'll say it again. For four women that are supposed to be street savvy, they seem so dumb. I think I'm going to stay away from Part 4.
review 2: Ok.. I can't really get with the RUSHED ENDING IN ORDER TO INSTALL A FOURTH BOOK.. For all the EMBELLISHMENT OF LIL C's life his rise was not really a RISE... more .. More like an APPOINTMENT AS A PAWN... Then the WHOLE scene with MERCEDES and husband just was WEAK ... I'm. Just wondering when the REAL TALENTED AUTHORS FROM TGE BLOCK ARE GOING TO START EMERGING... If you're GOING imply a NOSTALGIC view to this life at least make it REAL.. Do research .. Etc... #DONE less
