review 1: As a fan of the 'new' Doctor Who, I've never seen any of the old stuff. The interest has been there, but it seems like a lot of time spent on watching television. This book provided a way for me to experience this vicariously through his wife as he guided her through the galactic journeys of the Doctor. I wouldn't recommend this to a non-Whovian, because the terminology transfer isn't complete without a working knowledge base of the Who world. It was a delightful read while I was recovering from surgery. It left me thoroughly entertained.
