review 1: Most people thank God for prayers answered. Although Nick Vujicic prayed earlier in his life incessantly that God will grow four limbs for him, the miracle never happened. A greater miracle happened instead. Nick accepted what God had not given him and embraced his lack of limbs bravely and positively. Today he shares his positive outlook in life with millions and millions. Touched by his life, we the 'normal people' with our four limbs marvel at Nick are inspired to embrace all adversities in life because they are from God. No more murmuring and whinging and complaining that life is unfair. Yes life is unfair because God is the author of all things, including Nick that he must be born without any limbs.
review 2: Before reading this book, I have watched many o... moref Nick's videos which then encouraged me to buy this book. However, this book was a little bit of a disappointment. I hoped I'd read more than what I saw on most of his videos. His stories are way too repetitive. I respect Nick A LOT and he has inspired and pulled many people into the right direction but I really expected to read new material. If you did not see his videos on YouTube or DVD or however which way you can, then I highly recommend this book to you. He shares very interesting stories and challenges that he overcame. If you have seen the videos then give this book to someone who hasn't. I honestly did not complete this book because 90% of what I read is already said in his talks but the book has it more detailed. less
