review 1: O.Henry After Twenty Years level 25/19 = 60 minutes cop-street-twenty years-arrest-change-meetWhat phrase did Jimmy say for Bob?He said"It sometimes changes agood man into a bad one"This story was unbelievable story and sad end.Jimmy and Bob promissed to meet in front of the restaurant after twenty years.They can meet but it was not good because Bob was wanted criminal and Jimmy was cop.Jim said "I did't want to arrest you myself.so I went and got another cop and sent him to do the job"It was very sad story.
review 2: I read this book recently, I learned friends should help each other through this book. There were two close friend, and one friend suggested the other to go to the West to be a rich. But one refused his friend's suggestion, because he wanted to ge... moret something by hard working. They made a promise to meet 20years from now at the place where they dismissed. The guy who went to the West, became rich, but he scamed. On the other hand, who left in New York, he became a police officer, he achieved his dream.Twenty years past, and the time comes, the guy was waiting for his old friend from the place, he waited more than an hour, but his old friend didn't show up. But the other police officer, and there was a not it said "Dear my friend, I was there right on tiem. When you struck the match to light your cigar i saw it was the face of the an wanted in Chicago. Somehow i couldn't arrest you. So i got someone else to do the job. your old friend." They both were really innocent when they were young but they went to totaly differnt way. Through this book, friend should help other friends to go to right way. less
