review 1: I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I picked it up as a free kindle down load, which has not always been a good thing in the past. I have read a lot of free kindle books that turned out to be stinkers. But the description sounded good so I thought I would try it. The story was different and kept me engaged through out. I did find the ending a little abrupt but when I visited the author's website I discovered the final book will coalesce all the stories. I just purchased the second book and am looking forward to where the story goes.
review 2: First in a series of novellas about a group of individuals who are involved in a robbery and murder at a coffee shop.Adam is a tattooed, shaven-headed, biker tattoo artist who has been in love with his cousin Tommy's ... moreon-again, off-again girlfriend for ages. His cousin's girlfriend is also in love with Adam but has low self-esteem as a result of her toxic relationship with Tommy and former drug problem.When the events at the coffee shop start to catch up with her, Sasha turns to Adam for assistance.The premise was good, Sasha was a broken heroine and Adam was too good to be true. Tommy was foul. The story kind of petered out at the end, I don't know if the individual stories will continue in subsequent novellas. less
