review 1: I'm always a bit conflicted about reading follow-up POV books. I force myself to because I don't want to miss out on information and curiosity gets the better of me. But, often it feels like a retelling of the same story. This book was a pleasant surprise. You can tell that the author really worked to give the reader more. Even though the same story was told, different information that never came up in Bully was shared in Until You. IMO, authors should use this as an example of how to do POV well. Some thoughts on the book -- The whole "teddy bear analogy" really drove home Jared's motives. Some of the other explanations given didn't really work for me. I found the information about Jared's Dad's basement a bit out of the blue and that didn't really go anywhere. ... moreBut, maybe it'll become clearer in Jax's book.
review 2: 4.5 StarsThis was more than a retelling of the first book. You definitely gain more insight into Jared's perspective, and you love him all the more, even if you don't agree with his methods. Tate is still awesome, and I even left this story liking K.C., which was a surprise after how I thought of her in Bully. A great series that I look forward to continuing. I'm ready for Madoc and Jax! less
