review 1: Well, I was pleasantly surprised this volume wasn't as obnoxious as I thought it would be. It seems Yuiko and Taiga have sort of glided into their relationship(even though they NEVER act as if they're dating) and Taiga seems a little less annoyed about his girlfreind's fujoshi ways (though he still is irritated by most of it). And to be honest... I am too. It's all her life is about. She can't look at ANYTHING without making it fujoshi in some way, shape, or form. I mean, I'm all about anyone wanting to be a fan girl for anything...but when you can't think about anything else...I think that's when you have a problem.So I went from volume 1 being annoyed at Taiga to being really annoyed with Yuiko in volume 2. It's a shame because she's so cute. But her fujoshi ways are get... moreting really old really fast.
review 2: Sweet story about love of naive young (male) university student (hero/narrator) and his beloved independent "fujoshi" - yaoi/BL/slash fangirl, two years older and with greater income (because she works already) than his. He suffers because BL/slash very much :o), but he still loves her and accept her hoby (and her herself). Wonderful manga! (And sweet sweet sweet hero. :o)) Made after book (and diary entries on his blog at first) of Pentabu, male lover of similar "fujoshi", from 2005-2007. :o)The first male (heterosexual) opinion on BL/slash which I ever read (I mean the one which try to understand, not to be hurtful, unsensitive and often vulgar). I am similar "fujoshi" (female slasher), also very funny for me. :o) :o) :o) /Heroine is some mirror to me. :o)/ And it is very worthy and important because it is very honest. Hero can´t understand her love for slash (and slash itself), but he loves her very much and tries hard to accept it - and to accept her. Because he loves her. Amazing boy! Or young man. Sweet sweet sweet... He is real treasure and his books, too. I wish to read original book! It will be issued in autumn 2010 in English translation, I certainly will buy it. less
