review 1: An abuse to riches story about a Chinese girl named Ping Fu who finds out that the family who raised her is really her aunt/uncle/cousins, then is removed to a re-education center to atone for her ancestors' sins. Eventually she is kicked out of China, moves to the United States, and eventually becomes a wealthy businesswoman. My main issue with this book is the back and forth of the events/dates. I would much prefer to read it in chronological order.
