review 1: Great great complement to the series it is the best I have read not repetitive like others but informative and additional perspectives to the main story. I really hope Adam gets his own book he is a gard after all being a weird different one but one he is. It is also smart not all the great plans can be executed to the letter and in variation there is success just look at nature. Can hardly wait for the next book
review 2: The Search for Sam: 4.5/5.Adam, oh Adam. Adam is easily one of my favourite characters after reading these novellas. And this one especially. Despite One being dead and all, the two of them are so good together and it makes for a very interesting reason for why Adam does everything he does, betraying his family and everything. And Malcolm and... more Adam, they're just so nice together. I really think the only reason I didn't give this novella 5 stars is because it was slightly slow to take off, because of Adam being so determined to stay hidden.The Last Days of Lorien: 3.5/5.The title of this one gave me high hopes, maybe that's why I felt slightly disappointed when I finished it. Sandor's POV was interesting, since he never appears in the novels and only through Nine's eyes in Nine's Legacy. And I was quite surprised to realise I didn't like him at all to begin with. I thought he was unnecessarily whiny, but he grew on me towards the end when he decided to take on the Cépan role. Also, Nine and Henri's real names! I thought the novella was kinda rushed and confusig, but it makes sense, since the events would probably feel rushed and confusing to someone thrown into it like Sandor. The Forgotten Ones: 5/5.More Adam = happy me. I loved how Adam developed between this novella and the previous one, as well as during the course of this one. His trip to save the Chimæra was really great, the hero's cause he kinda needs. And of course the ending I already knew, having read FoF, but I was still happy to read how he drives as fast as he can to Malcolm and the Garde's aid. Collective rating: 4.3/5 stars. less
