review 1: The first book is about Nikki Maxwell and how she starts a new school, WCD, and has a social life of zero. Then she makes friends, but as some things finally go right, other things start messing up really bad. In the second book, Nikki's school has a Halloween Dance coming up, and she wants her crush Brandon to ask her out, even though Mackenzie likes him too. Nikki is so convinced that Brandon won't ever ask her, that she starts crying, and her best friends Chloe and Zoe aren't exactly making it easy to talk about...
review 2: I got this book as a present for my 10th birthday. Although I finished it that day, looking back in the series is..sad. I enjoyed the book at first. When I read it again though and the second one. There was too much "squee" and a "nerd g... moreirl" vs "popular kids" I'm sorry but I'm 12 and going on to 7th grade, I wouldn't read these books again. The plot was 2D and the characters weren't very interesting to me. I know other people liked it, but I'm not with them less
